7.30.2. IDERI note service internationalization

The IDERI note service components have only one element that shows a user interface, the IDERI note control panel applet. The IDERI note control panel applet is localized into English and German. The user interface language for the IDERI note control panel applet is automatically selected based upon the locale settings of the operating system. However, in order to enforce a certain language for the client user interface, you have to create the named string registry value “CplAppletLang” in the registry key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ideri\INoteSvc. Then assign to this value the language abbreviation of one of the two supported languages. For English as the user interface language, choose “enu”, for German choose “deu”.
