1.9. New features and changes in IDERI note Version 3.2

IDERI note Version 3.2 introduces a single new optional package for IDERI note environments, the IDERI note Hotkey Support Components. Although the name does not suggest this, this package adds support for inexpensive external hardware components to the IDERI note product suite, thus allowing creation, update and cancellation of IDERI note messages with a press of a separate external hardware button or instead its associated keyboard hotkey, using a standard PC keyboard. Use cases for this product package can be found at workplaces with exposure to customer traffic or similar conditions, where a quick, low-cost and easy-to-use alerting solution for users is required. Prior to the release of the IDERI note Hotkey Support Components, users that had the requirement to create or update an IDERI note message needed at least some formal training with the IDERI note administrator package or the IDERI note command line tools, and oftentimes casual users were simply overstrained with the complexities of the IDERI note administrator package, especially in emergency situations. The IDERI note Hotkey Support Components can reduce this complexity to a single keyboard press or the activation of an external hardware button, foot pedal or similar device and even works on computers with no interactively logged on users or the logon screen or lock screen running (professional licensing mode only). The IDERI note Hotkey Support Components are fully supported with the IDERI note professional licensing mode. Activating hotkeys while the logon screen is active is not supported with the standard licensing mode. The lite licensing mode is not supported with the IDERI note Hotkey Support Components.
