2.6. The IDERI note Administrative Tools

The IDERI note administrative tools are a collection, consisting of useful tools, an administrative template for Active Directory® and the IDERI note user manual.

The tools in this package are as follows:

• The IDERI note server support wizard: If the IDERI note administrative tools are installed on a computer that runs the IDERI note server, this wizard can be used to collect data and log files that can be sent to the IDERI product support for troubleshooting purposes.
• The IDERI note client customization wizard: This wizard can be used to create a transform file (an mst file) for the IDERI note client msi file. This way, a customized installation of the IDERI note client can be prepared with a simple to use wizard.

The administrative template can be used to create fully managed Active Directory® group policies for the IDERI note client. The product documentation is installed as pdf files that require Adobe Acrobat Reader or another suitable pdf reading software. Usage of the various wizards should be self-explanatory. The IDERI note client customization wizard has comprehensive online help for each wizard page with detailed explanations for the various settings that can be made for the transform files that this wizard creates.
